Engineer specializing in high-scale distributed systems, developer tools and SaaS monetization. At Stigg, architected usage metering pipelines, real-time credits, and entitlement management, powering billing for companies like Miro and Webflow.

Was founding engineer and later engineering manager at ilco, a platform that uses AI and gamification to improve developers skills. Built the product from MVP to adoption by over 20K developers.

At New Relic, designed and operated Kafka-based microservices handling millions of low-latency events for the entire notifications pipeline. Recognized for setting engineering standards, mentoring peers, and driving cross-functional initiatives that deliver both technical excellence and business impact.

Pricing, packaging and metering platform that handles subscription life-cycle, entitlements and more for companies such as Miro, Webflow, Pager Duty, AI21 Labs and more.

Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, React, AWS (Lambdas, SQS, Kinesis, DynamoDB)

• Hands-on development of core building blocks for Stigg’s pricing, billing and subscription management, handling over 100M subscriptions.

• Built high-throughput usage metering pipelines which powers the credit and entitlements systems, handling 300M daily events with peaks of 10K events per second, in sub 5s latency.

• Led squads delivering mission-critical billing infrastructure, including billing orchestration, AI-powered quote-to-cash, and Stigg’s credits suite.

• Architectured and developed the subscription migration flow, improving the compute time by over 95% and reducing the cost from several thousands of dollars per run to nearly zero.

• Served as the focal point for backend architecture and engineering standards, guiding complex feature design, mentoring peers, advocating and teaching team members how to leverage AI more efficiently in their development workflows.

• Speaker at Identiverse 2025 (Managing Entitlements for AI Agents), presenting best practices on securing and scaling access models for AI systems.

• Designed and operated distributed event-driven microservices (Kafka, Kotlin/Java) handling millions of notifications and incident workflows with strict latency and reliability SLAs.
• Fully owned the Incident Workflows product, from design, feature development, and end-to-end tests, through maintenance, monitoring, and on-call.
• Founded backend engineers guild, scaling engineering best practices, curiosity and quality across distributed teams. Assisted other team members in creating and dry running monthly lectures.

• Introduced serverless event-driven pipelines (AWS Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB) to support monolith-to-microservices migration with higher reliability and throughput
• Scaled the platform’s marketing system, improving 10x in volume and 100x in performance (time), handling over 10M emails and 5M SMS messages a month.
• Designed the product’s new real-time reporting system, aggregating and displaying data from over 30M shopping transactions monthly.
